Adenium

Adenium ‘Ice Pink’PPAF and ‘Hot Pink’PPAF are Desert Roses with a difference. These interspecific hybrids are very vigorous and free branching and from a liner can produce a flowering 6” pot in only 16 weeks!

Our young plants are produced from virus tested stock and outperform seedling “Desert Rose” in finish times as well as crop uniformity.

Throw away any old ideas you may have about Adenium and try these new and exciting varieties.

 




Anthurium 'Pink Passion'PPAF

Above dark green, disease resistant foliage, rich pink Anthurium flowers never looked better. From Oglesby's in-house breeding program, discover yet another introduction due fame (and Passion)! Pink Passion is suitable for 6, 8 and/or 10 inch containers.

 


Anthurium 'White Heart' PPAF

From our own in-house breeding program, ‘White Heart’ is a compact Anthurium with large white flowers ideal for 6, 8 and 10 inch containers. The flowers are glossy white with a contrasting dark pink spadix. Mature flowers turn green and persist indefinitely. Extensive Florida field tests have shown that ‘White Heart’ has excellent disease resistance. Discover ‘White Heart’ and a new generation of successful breeding.


Dianella tasmanica ‘Variegata’

This popular perennial landscape plant also know as “Variegated Flax Lily” or “White Stripe Flax Lily” brings a splash of white to a green garden. Dianella forms clumps of lanceolate leaves with white stripes on both margins and grows well in full sun to partial shade. Small bluish white flowers appear in mid to late spring with dark blue berries forming in dry climates. Dianella tasmanica ‘Variegata’ also makes a striking patio plant when grown in containers. Cold hardy to 25 degree F and drought tolerant.


Reed Stem Epidendrum

Reed Stem Epidendrum are easy to grow semi-terrestrial orchids that produce brightly colored, long lasting clusters of flowers in a multitude of colors. All of our young plants are cloned in our own laboratory from virus tested stock plants. We are offering dwarf or compact types as well as the larger varieties. When grown under high light conditions, Reed Stem Epidendrum make beautiful flowering pot plants for 4 to 6” pots or a sub-tropical landscape item.


Euphorbia 'Hapa' TM

BIGGER, BOLDER AND BETTER ­ This versatile plant is suited for sub-tropical landscapes or as fast growing flowering pot plant for patios or sun rooms. ‘Hapa’ has a natural mounding shape and given a sunny location will yield an abundance of dark pink flowers. ‘Hapa’ is a larger plant than our ‘Short & Sweet’ with a height of 20+ inches at maturity. For the flowering pot plant grower, ‘Hapa’ offers the speed growers need and an eye catching color for the consumer. Available as liners or unrooted cuttings.


Euphorbia 'Sun Ray'

Vigorous grower with a natural mounding shape and large eye catching yellow flowers, ‘Sun Ray’ is a new addition to our Euphorbia line. Suitable for sub-tropical landscapes or as a flowering pot plant for 4, 6 or 8 inch pots (as depicted). It is hard to walk past this striking plant without a second look. Available as liners or unrooted cuttings.




Mandevilla Bride's CascadePPAF

A new hybrid of an old favorite, ‘Bride’s Cascade’ produces clusters of white flowers with bright yellow throats. The leaves are broad, deep green and glossy making a perfect backdrop for the prolific white flowers. ‘Bride’s Cascade’ was judged to have better natural branching than other white Mandevilla varieties. Be creative and grow this fast growing tropical vine on a number of different supports in 6, 8 and 10 inch containers.

 




Phaius

We are proud to offer intergeneric and interspecific hybrids of Phaius from renowned orchid breeder George Hausermann. These hybrids offer new colors, flower shapes and an extended bloom season to this easy to grow genus of orchids. Since Phaius is a terrestrial orchid, tropical plant growers can successfully add color to their program with little or no change in cultural methods.

 




Phlebodium aureum 'Blue Star

Don’t worry, we have trouble pronouncing Fle-bo-dium too. This special selection of a Florida native fern, is a tough yet beautiful fern with long, graceful blue green fronds that make a spectacular presentation in 6 to 12 inch baskets or containers. The utility, structure and color of ‘Blue Star’ will no doubt attract buyers looking for the new and different.

 


Platycerium bifurcatum 'Netherlands'
Compact Staghorn Fern


Unlike numerous other Staghorn varieties, this newer selection, as the name implies, is unique to its full and compact growth habit. Thus, perfect for smaller 4, 6 & 8 inch pot production. Now an old favorite can be commercialized in a new presentation at more affordable price points. (Cold hardy to 35° F)


Spathiphyllum ‘Sweet Lauretta’

If you’re looking to make a statement with a Spathiphyllum, ‘Sweet Lauretta’ is a good choice. A vigorous large structured variety with broad leaves and exceptionally large pure white flowers which are unusually long lived. ‘Sweet Lauretta’ has earned its place in the “Sweet” Spathiphyllum series. Recommended for 10 inch or large pot sizes.
