How did this happen?

by oglesby

In 19OPI247, Raymond Oglesby had $500, a red pickup truck and one employee (him) and started growing plants for the local landscape market in South Florida. Soon, he was not only growing plants but growing his business into a successful landscape nursery.  In the early 1970’s, Ray started his pioneering work in the art and science of plant propagation being one of the first to understand the impact plant tissue culture would have on the future of horticulture.  Now, 71 years later his legacy is a vibrant and successful breeding and young plant company with over 90 dedicated employees.

We are grateful to the talented and innovative people who have helped us grow and prosper.  But most of all, we thank our loyal customers who have encouraged and supported our work through these many years.
